What is ur fav. T.V Programme ? What do u like listening to on the radio? Which newspaper or magazine do u usually read? Do you surf the net and wat have u found most useful abt it? Did u know dat there ie one word dat is often used to collectively refer to the radio ,tv,newspaper internet and several other forms of communication.This word is 'media'.Can u think of one thing dat u have learnt frm the media this week?Everything ranging frm the stall at the local fair to the programmedat u see on TV can be called media. Media is a plural form of 'medium' & it describes the various ways through wich we communicate in society. Because media refers to all means of communication ,everything ranging frm a phone call to the evening news on TV can be called media. TV,radio &newspapers are a form of media dat reaches millions of people, or the masses ,across the country and the world and,thus,they are called mass media.
